Coming Home!

This
Friday (May 4th) Michael and James are coming home!

Yesterday Michael and James went to the Canadian High Commission to get the visa. As many of you know there has been issues with the High Commission issuing visas so I couldn't believe it when Michael called to say he got James' visa. Today Michael changed his flight and that went seamless as well. The stars have aligned once again for us!

James has slept through the night, has not yet cried nor said anything. But Michael called me back today and said, "James just talked!". I heard James say yes and no. Michael said, "I knew he could talk - he is just extremely shy!" I am at this point in a bit of a fog so I can't imagine what Michael and sweet James are feeling.

I hope to update the blog on the weekend with pictures of our new son.

Proud mommy once again!

...I don't think I have had butterflies quite like this since I had my own children! What an adventure the "Epp's" have undertaken...one that the Fletcher's have been blessed to be a part of. We can't WAIT to meet sweet James & to see a smile on his adorable face! Look out Parker...your big brother is almost home!

I cried, OF COURSE, when Nicole called the other day and asked if I'd seen the latest news. All the words others haven't posted are so true. We all have chills and feelings of such joy and happiness for you and Michael. In 48 hours or less your family will be complete! At long last. It is at times like this that I am awed by how much joy the heart can experience and I suspect that your heart is absolutely brimming over.
Such an incredible adventure of exciting new experiences lay ahead and those of us around you who feel blessed to be your friends and family cannot wait to watch it all unfold. Sierra is just peaking to meet Parker and James. Let us know when you feel he won't be too overwhelmed by the mass of visitors and we'll be right there!! Luv Simone
